St Michael's Tower Appeal

Major repair works are required to repair and stabilise the pinnacles of the iconic tower of St Michael’s, a prominent feature of the Teignmouth skyline. Additionally, following the church’s last Quinquennial Inspection, other major building works are required to repair the fabric of the building and preserve if for future generations. The total costs of these works are estimated to be in the region of £500,000. There is no funding available from the Church of England and so the cost of the works falls to the local church community. The PCC has limited resources and no money to fund the works and so it is necessary to launch a major appeal to raise funds and seek grant funding.

A one-off donation – Naturally, larger donations are very welcome, but if everyone in Teignmouth contributed just £5, we would be well on our way to achieving the funding we need.
A regular monthly gift – You may like to put a bit aside each month, just for twelve months; pledging a monthly donation will help us plan our finances.
Gift Aided donations – If you pay tax, please complete a gift aid declaration so we can claim back the tax paid on your donations.
