St John the Baptist, Bishopsteignton

Following the recent government annoucnemment, we are now unable to offer public worship until at least Sunday 6 December. Some of our churches are open for personal prayer. We provide an Online Service each Sunday and a range of resources you can use at home

St John's is open for personal prayer from 10am-12 noon on Wednesdays and has an Outdoor Quiet Space which is open all day, every day.

Once Lockdown is lifted, we hope to reopen and revert to the following pattern of services.

Services at St John's, Bishopsteignton:

First Sunday      10am   Holy Communion 

Second Sunday  10am   Holy Communion (NB 10.15am Remembrance Sunday, 8 Nov)

Third Sunday     10am   Village Worship 

Fourth Sunday    10am   Holy Communion 

Fifth Sunday       10am   Holy Communion

December's edition of monthly parish magazine, The Chronicle is now available to download. We are unable to produce a printed copy this month. Please note some of the dates for church events have changed from those shown - please check here for up to date information.

Printed copies (hopefully there will be one in January) can normally be bought at the Post Office, 50 Fore Street, Bishopsteignton, price 50p. If you live in the village and would like it delivered please contact Keith Hutchings
