First Things First

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do.

Our monthly prayer meeting is an informal setting in which we can come together to pray for members of our congregations, the ministry of the Haldon Team and broader church and world issues. These meetings will take place on the first day of each month and, where possible, in different venues across the team.

Our next meeting will be on Monday 1st November at 5pm at St Michael's, Teignmouth. Everyone is welcome, regardless of which church community you belong to. It will last about 30-45 minutes.

Shaldon & Ringmore

The Haldon Mission Community and Shaldon Parish are in the process of joining.

Revd Carol & Revd Sue recently had an upbeat and constructive meeting with Lesley Bill and Malcolm Watson (Churchwardens of St Peters, Shaldon and St Nicholas, Ringmore). No firm dates for our marriage have been set but we are definitely engaged.

Whilst the legal arrangements are being made Rev Carol is called the Priest in Charge, this will revert to Team Rector on the conclusion of the process.

Praying at Home

We have produced the following resources for you to use at home. Simply click the link to download.

And please do join our Online services & Compline (Night Prayer)

We are posting a monthly mailing of news, information and resources to everyone across the six churches who is not on the internet. This costs about £70 per month (which is mainly the postage) and we are so grateful to those who have given generously to support this initiative. We currently have enough to cover the mailings which will go out up and until the end of the year. If you can help please contact John Plumb, Treasurer at St John's, Bishopsteigton (01626 775507) who looks after thsi on behalf of the Team.
