Online Service for the Second Sunday of Lent (28 Feb)

Cut flowers are one of life’s simple pleasures from my perspective. So it was a delight when last week we received a breathtaking arrangement from our children to mark a significant anniversary. The colour & fragrance have continued to be daily tonics. In a week in which I took the funeral of someone who loved roses, whose life was, in itself, a fragrant blessing to so many, I was reminded of St Paul’s words ‘You are to God, the aroma of Christ’ [2 Cors 15]: may that be a Lenten encouragement & challenge to us all.

Revd Jane
