Online Service for Third Sunday of Easter (18 Apr)
Revd Jane writes:
National & local events of recent days have made me reflect on the fact it can be those who are nearest and dearest to us, who we take for granted and do not thank. It’s only as part of the process of having my own children that a habit my late Father modelled to me, has become a way of being and doing I try to replicate as a parent. Even when I was in my forties, at some point when we met up, he would spontaneously say to me, ‘I love you’. Not ‘I love you because…’. Just ‘I love you’. That expression of unconditional love is a legacy I have come to prize. Thank you, Dad.
I hope the coming days are ones when we can all find a reason to give thanks with a grateful heart.
This coming Sunday (25 Apr)
9.30am Holy Communion at St Michael’s, Teignmouth
10.00am Holy Communion at St John's, Bishopsteignton
10.30am Holy Communion at St James', Teignmouth (includes Annual meeting - see below)

Welcome to the Haldon Mission Community!
We are six Anglican churches each seeking to serve all those who live in the wider communities of Ashcombe, Bishopsteignton, Ideford, Luton and Teignmouth.
Although separate parishes we are also growing into a community – supporting each other through prayer and fellowship and seeking to grow in our love for God and all He has created. We worship God week by week in buildings that have each served their communities for centuries. We seek to be a supportive presence for people of all stages of faith as they celebrate births and marriages and marked the death of loved ones.
The Haldon Team Office is located in St Michaels Church in Teignmouth. It is not open to visitors due to the current situation. However you can still contact our administrator, Mervyn on 01626 770115 or email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. You are also welcome to contact any of the ministry team. The Haldon Team Office serves all the Anglican churches in the Haldon Team Ministry and is the first "port-of-call" for the churches in Teignmouth, Bishopsteignton, Ideford, Luton and Ashcombe.
We would love YOU to be a part of our church families! The information on our website will help you discover the joy and adventure that is living as part of God's family here in the Haldon Mission Community!

- Details
The Haldon Team is committed to the safeguarding of everybody, and especially to ensuring the safety and protection of all children and adults experiencing or at risk of abuse or neglect - who are involved in any church activities. The Safeguarding Lead for The Haldon Team is Susan Harvey and concerns can be notified to her on 01626 770627
Any matters of concern about a child or vulnerable adult should be always be reported. You can contact one of the agencies listed on the information that can be downloaded here (PDF). The term safeguarding is used to define actions taken to protect and save vulnerable people and groups from harm. This may come from adults or other groups or other children. A vulnerable adult is a person who may be unable to protect themselves or take care of themselves against harm, exploitation, neglect or abuse. When safeguarding children - a child is anyone under the age of 18. Therefore safeguarding children is about protecting all those under 18 from harm, exploitation, neglect or abuse. Schools, charities, hospitals and care homes, along with other sectors - including churches must all take responsibility to safeguard those around them.
Here is our Safeguarding Policy Statement (PDF). You can also read our Lone Working Policy (PDF) and Use of Social Media Guidelines (PDF).
